There is no honest single “Bangkok suit price.” A quote changes with cloth, construction, pattern work, fittings, finishing, tax and service after delivery. Compare specifications rather than headline numbers.
What determines price?
- Fiber, mill, bunch and cloth weight.
- Fused, half-canvas or full-canvas construction.
- Individual pattern and cutting process.
- Number and depth of fittings.
- Handwork, finishing and garment complexity.
- Alteration and aftercare policy.
Fabric questions that reveal clarity
Ask for fiber composition, mill or bunch identification, weight and why the cloth suits your climate and use. A super-number alone does not establish durability or value. Tropical wool, high-twist cloth, linen and blends behave differently.
Turnaround is fitting time
A fast promise is meaningful only if there is time to evaluate and correct the garment. Start early in the trip and ask for the fitting schedule before paying. A short stay may justify a simpler commission or later delivery rather than rushed work.
Compare written specifications
Request the number of garments, cloth, construction, lining, included details, fitting plan, delivery date, tax and payment schedule in writing. Photograph the selected fabric label if permitted.
